The night mode : you define a range of time for the night. Then during the night, the communication will be cut. So the battery will stop decrease. Go to the statistic to see that the battery was saved. If not, you have another application or process wich drain your battery
The day mode : when your screen is off, the internet mobile network is cut. No 3G data. Your phone is disconnect from Internet and thus consume less

First, the graph is still in development. I have a lot of idea to improve it
Second, today the metrics are written on each minute. That means if you trigger different actions on 1 mn, Battery Booster is not yet able to treat these information correctly
On Android 1.5, there are limitations on getting the event POWER_CONNECTED. So, if you have an Android 1.5, a inactive background service is created and a periodic alarm of 5 mn is set in order to catch the information POWER_CONNECTED. But it is done only when the screen is on. So you battery will not decrease with this function.

I want an option to shutdown completly the mobile instead of cutting communication
The user interface is already ready for this. Unfortunately, it is not possible for technical reason :

The kit of developpement don't give the possility of shutting down the mobile. If somebody know a solution to get arround this limitation, please write me. I will be grateful
There is no possibility to program a wake up interruption which will stay alive when Android is off. So, the mobile can not start automatically

How to avoid to put the code pin request at each wake-up from hibernation ?
The kit of developpement don't give the possility of filling the code pin or to avoid the code pin message when the mobile want to register to a phone network. So far, there are the following possibility :

You can continue to fill the code pin manually. But this software will lost interest
You can disable the pin code in :

Open Android application menu
Settings
Security and location
Set up SIM card lock
Disable Lock SIM card.
Be aware that disable the SIM card lock will decrease the security of your phone. I did it, but it is a personnal choice

You can let the gsm communication (phone call and sms short message). The drawback is that the efficiency of Battery Booster will decrease a lot. But if you want to do it :

I have 2 little other ideas to avoid this problem, but it is complicated to implement it. It will arrive in a undefined delay.

My internet connection in 3G does not work any more
There is one case where you can lost your 2G/3G connection:

You can check and restore it manually by:

Open Android application menu
Run Settings application
Wireless controls
Mobile networks
Access Point Names
If you see [disable], then you have to rename all strings to remove the [disable] letters. If not, Battery Booster is not responsible of your issue.

To avoid this issue : disable Battery Booster before uninstall it

Why is there less updates ?
There are several reasons to explain why there are less update than before:

Until march 2010, I was working in this project all days. Since march, I have a new job and I don't have the time to work on it
All main features was already developped. I am now workinng on the bug fixing mainly
I have some very good idea to add very good features, but it is some big feature. As I said, I do not have enough time to work on it
